Oceania Cruises is a cruise line based in Miami, Florida, that operates six ships on worldwide itineraries. The line is known for its high crew-to-guest ratio, resulting in high-touch, attentive service. It typically offers cruises that last between 10 and 14 days, but is also known for Grand Voyages and World Cruises lasting up to 218 days. Since September 2014, Oceania Cruises has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which also owns Norwegian Cruise Line and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Oceania Cruises promises “exquisitely crafted cuisine, curated travel experiences and small-ship luxury.” Wine and martini tastings and educational presentations are offered on the line's smaller Regatta, Nautica, Sirena and Insignia ships, which carry up to 684 guests. Cooking demonstrations and art classes take place aboard the larger Marina and Riviera ships, which can carry up to 1,250 guests. Cuisine is a big part of the experience, with numerous open-seating dining venues on each ship – including the Grand Dining Room, which serves French fare at lunchtime from a menu created by master chef Jacques Pépin.
Oceania's shore experiences are just as varied as its sailings: passengers can sign up for activities ranging from glacier adventures in Alaska to to vineyard hopping in Greece. Should your clients wish to extend their time on shore, Oceania offers pre- or post-cruise land tours, which include most lodging, dining and transportation costs.
Oceania sails around the world, with trips spanning Europe, Alaska, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, New England-Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Tahiti and the South Pacific. Cruises range in length from seven to more than 200 days. Oceania’s smaller ships can cruise into off-the-beaten path ports, among the 450 destinations they visit around the world.
