DISNEY CRUISE LINE

OVERVIEW

Disney Cruise Line offers sea voyages for the whole family, filled with fantasy, fun and excitement. The four current ships -- Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy -- feature spacious staterooms, themed dining and unique areas designed for specific age groups to enjoy. For youngsters, the children’s programs provide activities and facilities with that magical Disney touch. Adult options include exclusive 18-and-older venues, a luxury full service spa and entertainment district.

Nightly entertainment is hosted in the Walt Disney Theatre. Here guests will enjoy Broadway caliber productions, variety acts, and on some voyages a premiere of a new Disney blockbuster movie. Onboard you'll find a basketball court, shuffleboard, ping pong, shopping, a movie theater, family lounges, adult night spots, and for those of you wish to stay in touch, internet service is offered. More entertainment is offered with character breakfasts, deck parties themed to Pirates of the Caribbean or Frozen, and special cruises with days dedicated to Star Wars and Marvel. During the fall, special cruises celebrate Halloween on the High Seas, and at holidays Disney Cruise Line hosts special Very Merrytime Cruises.

Outstanding service, fabulous dining, beautiful facilities combined with the ever-present Disney characters will make every Disney cruise a voyage filled with magic.

DESTINATIONS VISITED

With five ships (and two more on the way), there is a wide range of destination choice on Disney Cruise Line. The Disney Dream typically sails 3- and 4-night itineraries to the Bahamas, while the Disney Fantasy alternates 7-night sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder offer more far-flung destinations, with the Magic sometimes heading to Bermuda, Canada and Europe and the Wonder visiting Alaska and Mexico. The new Disney Wish is currently offering short Bahamas sailings, with more destinations to follow.

DISNEY TRAVEL AGENT PORTAL

DisneyTravelAgents.com and the Canadian version, DisneyTravelAgents.ca, is the main portal for those selling all kinds of Disney vacations, from Walt Disney World Resort to Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and more. The site features guides on how to book components of each vacation, from theme park tickets to cruise line sailings. Registered agents can explore Disney Destinations information, access marketing tools and resources, and complete specialized training. The portal also enables agents to obtain quotes or book Disney Cruise Line online.

AGENT TRAINING

The DisneyTravelAgents site hosts Disney’s College of Knowledge, a five-part, fully interactive course that prepares advisors both new and old on what Disney can offer to its guests. The courses cover Aulani Resort, Adventures by Disney, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Resort, and Walt Disney World Resort. Each one should take about an hour to complete, with the Walt Disney World Resort course being the longest at 75 minutes total. Each course includes segmented lessons that catch advisors up on all the latest product offerings. The Disney Cruise Line one, for instance, includes an overview of its ships, staterooms, activities, dining, Castaway Cay, and itineraries. Each course also includes short quizzes to test your knowledge as you progress along. The idea is to fully prepare advisors with the product knowledge they need prior to talking to their clients about a potential Disney booking.

AGENT RATES & FAMS

Registered Disney Travel Agents who complete the training program are eligible for discounted travel to Disney parks, resorts and Disney Cruise Line sailings. As well as offering digital tools to learn from home, Disney Cruise Line offers familiarization trips so agents can experience the product first-hand. Find out more at the Disney Travel Agent portal or through your local business development manager.
